Tentang Kami
PKP Community Centre aims to empower rural communities in Bali by advancing female empowerment and gender equality. The centre supports women through job skills training programs such as sewing, cooking, and English classes, along with other personal development initiatives. Most importantly, PKP provides a safe haven for women, children, and families who have experienced domestic violence, divorce, or social exclusion.
Through its training programs, PKP helps families reduce financial stress and improve their livelihoods. The benefits extend across the entire village, as additional income allows families to invest in education and nutrition, creating better opportunities and a brighter future for their children.
Ibu Sari
Pendiri PKP Community Centre
After experiencing a painful divorce and being separated from her daughter for 12 years, Ibu Sari dedicated her life to supporting vulnerable women and children in Bali. In many Balinese communities, divorced women face deep social stigma and often struggle to be accepted or rebuild their lives. During a period of severe depression, Ibu Sari made the courageous decision to transform her adversity into purpose by returning to school and beginning her journey to help others heal and thrive.
